Most of the metal found at the site was of various weights of unknown formulations of aluminum foil. Extensive work was conducted on the metal by three metallurgical labs. All known aluminum formations of commercial use were cross-checked with our material. None matched. A Navajo crew working at the site in 2004 found a heavy piece of unusual metal with a metallurgical content of aluminum, silicon, manganese and iron. Also found by a ranch wife at this site was a strange charcoal wafer-like item made of carbon and aluminum with a zinc-based tape around the perimeter. Details are shown with spectacular close-ups from a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
